Designed to resemble an old-world Mexican mansion, the Avalon Baccara Cancun is a boutique resort located on a fine stretch of white-sand beach in the heart of Cancun's Hotel Zone, within walking distance of La Isla Shopping Village.

Features include a hand-tiled swimming pool with fountains, waterfalls and a swim-up bar, rich terracotta walls, blue-painted archways, stained-glass windows, and handcrafted Mexican art and furnishings.

Dining and refreshments are available at the Beach Bar, serving tropical drinks and seafood, the lobby bar, Avanti Restaurant, serving Caribbean specialties, and Boulevard Bistro, offering made-to-order thin crust pizzas and sandwiches. The 27 guest rooms all have views of the Caribbean Sea, Nichupte Lagoon or both. One, two and three-bedroom suites also offer an outdoor, tiled Jacuzzi on the terrace, living room, dining room and kitchen.
